Google Cloud consulting to architect, migrate and lower your cloud bill

Everything OnWeb builds runs on Google Cloud. We bring that day-to-day operating experience to your company: serverless architecture, migration from old servers and hosting, security, AI with Vertex AI and, above all, cost under control.

What our Google Cloud consulting covers

Architecture

application design with Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub and Cloud Scheduler.

Migration

from on-premise servers, VPSs, shared hosting or another cloud to Google Cloud.

Cost (FinOps)

a billing audit, shutting down what is left over and sizing each service to real usage.

Security

least-privilege service accounts, Secret Manager, static egress IP and auditing.

AI on Google Cloud

Vertex AI with Gemini and Claude, using company data with governance.

Domains and DNS

Cloud DNS, certificates and records without taking email or the website down.

Google Cloud bill too high? Start with an audit

Cloud bills grow quietly: a test machine nobody turned off, a service with CPU always allocated for no reason, a network connector copied into every project, an AI called more often than it should be. None of these is scary alone; together, they double the bill.

OnWeb's audit crosses the billing export with each project's inventory and usage metrics, and delivers a cut plan ordered by savings and risk. It is the same method we use every month across the group's 15 projects.

Why we prefer Cloud Run

Most web applications do not need a server running 24 hours. On Cloud Run the application runs in containers that scale with traffic and can drop to zero when nobody is using it. The result is cost proportional to usage, zero-downtime updates and security managed by Google.

For what does need a machine (a GPU for AI, for example), we use on-demand Compute Engine: the machine starts to work and shuts itself down afterwards, as in Safetline's 3D model generator.

Migrating to Google Cloud without surprises

Migrating means planning the way back before going. We inventory what exists, bring a copy to the cloud, test with real data, agree on a window with the team and only then switch DNS, preserving email, verification records and redirects. That is how Safetline's cutover went, with email and third-party records untouched.

Experience from operating, not only designing

OnWeb is not a license reseller. The systems in our cases run on Google Cloud and are operated by us every day: deploys, cron jobs, databases, certificates, static IPs for bank integrations, AI keys in a vault. The problems we solve in your account are the ones we already solved in ours. See also website hosting.

Frequently asked questions

Is OnWeb a Google Cloud partner?

All OnWeb systems run on Google Cloud and the group takes part in Google for Startups. Our consulting comes from operating 15 projects on the platform every day.

Is it worth moving from shared hosting to Google Cloud?

For websites and systems that matter to the business, usually yes: more speed, security and control, with usage-based cost. For a simple static site, sometimes it does not pay off, and we say so.

Can the Google Cloud bill be reduced without losing performance?

In most cases, yes. A large part of spend usually comes from idle or oversized resources.

Do you work with AWS or Azure?

Our focus is Google Cloud. We migrate from AWS and Azure to Google Cloud when it makes sense.
